TV Talk Show Producer
Community View (CV) is a 30 minute television talk show for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing that aired weekly on AZ-TV, KUAT, City of Peoria’s Channel 11 and Online. All shows used three modes of communication; host voice over, American Sign Language and closed captioning.

Dee Ann's Role:
In all projects Dee Ann was the concept and scriptwriter, producer, assistnat director, guest booker, media buyer, shooting locations scout, grip, and on set photographer.

ADWM Consumer Tip of the Month
When Dee Ann was the Public Information Officer for the Department of Weights & Measures she had a dream of creating monthly consumer awareness segments that news stations would air. She put together a calendars of segments with fun names like Beware of Tare (Packaging), Don't Get Fooled By Your Holiday Fowl (Thanksgiving), Is the Price Right? (UPC & Price Posting), Fueling for the Future (Gasoline) and so on. She put together a script for each and hit the broadcast streets.
For four years she developed concepts, wrote segments, coordinated shooting locations, and schedules and acted as a co-spokesperson for the "Weights & Measures Consumer Consumer Tip of the Month" month segments that aired on Fox 10 morning show (4 years- 36 segments), ABC 15 Morning news (24 segments), Univision and KVOA TV evening news (12 segments).
Result:
- Free TV advertisement with air time range from 1 to 3 minutes per segment
- Increased public awareness of all the services the Department provides which caused a significant increase in retail compliance
- Increased inspector morale
- Enhanced reputation on a national level due to other states following ADWM's promotional approach.

- Obtained production donations that increased the number of new shows aired and a new set.
- Wrote and renegotiated show contracts, budgets and media buys which enable the addition of a third broadcasting station.
- Created an online library of all show which expanded viewers to a global audience by developing and implemented online show viewing library.
- Attracted well known celebrities and political leaders as guests.
- Lowered production cost and increased number of shows aired by taping four shows per shooting day.
